About
Clarington Traditional Scouting was started in July 2017 when two highly recognized leaders, trainers and long standing members of Scouts Canada re-evaluated the organization, and their long term goals. No longer able to identify with the program and conduct that was being delivered, they looked for something different. After evaluation of multiple associations that provide programs that resonate with the community of Courtice and Clarington, the Canadian Traditional Scouting Association has become the home for this group.
There are 15 individual Scouting organizations operating in Canada, and most of these groups believe in the original
10 laws as set down by the organization founder Robert Baden-Powell. One of the most important being the 4th law.
