Traditional Scouting uses outdoor recreation to promote strong values, build self-confidence, and promote healthy, active living, developing the next generation of leaders. Join a Traditional Scouting Association for outdoor adventure
for boys and girls ages 5 and up.

Clarington Traditional Scouting is part of the Canadian Traditional Scouting Association (CTSA), an independent scouting association affiliated with  other independent Scout Associations  in Canada and around the world. Our goals are to provide an opportunity for youth to experience the program designed by Lord Robert Baden Powell to develop an ethical, moral and physically sound relationship with our community through environmental stewardship, and outdoor fundamentals.

Leadership Opportunities:

We are always on the lookout for new leaders. Are you looking to share your knowledge of the outdoors?
Or maybe you want to share an experience with your son or daughter and learn outdoor skills for yourself.

We have opportunities for anyone over 18.
We are also looking for Junior Leaders (16 and over) who are looking for their community service hours.
We offer letters of recommendation for successful completion.
